What about .... birthdays

Okay, it's a new year.

Which also means I turn another year older.  (I heard that chuckle - you turn another year older too!)

Because I'm turning 49! I felt a need to share this.......  (I was laughing so hard I couldn't finishing reading it to Jeff)

Where To Meet For Lunch

     A group of ladies, all coming up on 30, were talking, trying to decide where they should meet for lunch.  Finally, it was decided that they would meet at the 'Ocean View Restaurant', because the waiters there were handsome, aspiring actors with great personalities.  They thought it would be fun.   During lunch, they all decided they'd meet again every 10 years, to make it special.     Ten years later, approaching their 40th birthdays, the women once again discussed a lunch celebration.  They decided on the Ocean View Restaurant, because the chef was nationally recognized and famous for using only locally grown produce.      Ten years later, nearing age 50, the friends once again discussed where they should meet for lunch.  Finally, it was once again agreed that they would meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because the food was good, and the wine selection was excellent!     Ten years later as they faced turning 60, they decided to meet at the Ocean View Restaurant, because they could talk and linger over their salads without being rushed by the wait staff, and because the restaurant had a beautiful view of the ocean.      Ten years passed, as they neared 70, they once again chose the Ocean View Restaurant because there was a luncheon promotion for one entree' with the purchase of one regularly priced entree'.     Ten years later, as they discussed where to meet for their 80th birthday celebratory lunch, they agreed to meet at the Ocean View Restaurant, mainly because it was wheelchair accessible and had an elevator.  Plus, it was quiet enough so that they could hear each other talk!     Ten more years passed, at age 90, the lifelong friends discussed where they should meet for lunch.  Finally, after much deliberation, they all decided that they would meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because it looked nice, and they'd never been there before.

Now, that's how I'm rollin' out the New Year!
